An integrated approach to combating Neglected Tropical Diseases in Nigeria

Nigeria bears the heaviest burden of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in Africa, accounting for about 25 percent of cases. Despite progress made and ongoing national efforts to control and eliminate these diseases, including mass drug administration (MDA) campaigns, the scale of endemicity remains significant. In 2021, CBM Australia launched the third phase of the Integrated Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases project. This report details the end of project evaluation key findings (2021 - 2025).

Meru Inclusive Trachoma WASH-plus Project

CBM Australia supported the Meru Inclusive Trachoma WASH-plus project, a three-year project that aimed to break trachoma transmission patters and improve community health, sanitation, and livelihoods for people, including people with disabilities, in Meru, Kenya.
