Partner to help drive lasting change

People with disabilities in developing countries are among the most marginalised in the world. Too often, they are excluded from basic human rights, not because of ability or potential, but because health systems, education, employment and services are not built to include them.

CBM is an international development organisation with more than 115 years’ experience working alongside communities, governments and local partners. We focus on practical solutions that help people access healthcare, education, livelihoods and safety, while working to change the systems that exclude them in the first place.

As a corporate partner, your organisation can help expand access to essential services for people with disabilities living in poverty globally, through programs designed for long‑term progress rather than short‑term relief.

This is long‑term change, built with communities and partners.

Frequently Asked Questions

A corporate partnership with CBM Australia is a strategic collaboration focused on creating sustainable, long‑term impact for people with disabilities in developing countries. Partnerships go beyond one‑off donations and are built around shared values, mutual benefit and clearly defined outcomes.

CBM corporate partnerships support Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities by addressing social inclusion, equity and human rights at a global level.

Our work contributes directly to the “Social” pillar of ESG, particularly around disability inclusion, access to healthcare and education, and poverty reduction.

We work with partners to align initiatives with their ESG frameworks, reporting needs and impact goals – ensuring outcomes are measurable, transparent and aligned with recognised international development and human rights principles.

All CBM corporate partnerships are designed to be flexible and tailored to each organisation’s purpose, priorities and capacity.

We begin by understanding your organisation’s goals, stakeholders and the impact you want to achieve. From there, we co‑design a partnership approach – whether through strategic funding, employee engagement, pro bono support or cause‑based initiatives, to ensure alignment, relevance and meaningful impact.

In 2025, for every dollar given to CBM Australia, 78 cents supported programs and 16 cents generated funds to support future programs, leaving 5 cents to deliver accountability and administration. For every dollar we spend on fundraising we raise nearly four times that amount.

CBM Australia supports people with disabilities living in poverty regardless of religion, belief, culture or background.

CBM is founded on Christian values, which continue to shape our commitment to dignity, equality and justice for all people. These values inform why we do our work, not who we support. Our programs focus on addressing the intersection of disability and poverty and on building inclusive communities where everyone can access their rights and opportunities.

In practice, CBM works alongside people of many faiths and none, partnering with local organisations, communities and governments. We do not engage in missionary or evangelical activities, and assistance is never conditional on belief.

Inequality exists everywhere. For people with disabilities living in poverty in developing countries, exclusion is deeper, more entrenched, and far more difficult to escape.

For more than one billion people living with disability, basic human rights such as access to healthcare, education, employment and safety are often denied due to systemic barriers, not a lack of ability or potential.

Supporting international programs enables large‑scale, lasting impact. Success means strengthening local capacity, advancing disability inclusion, and ensuring people with disabilities and their families can access essential services and opportunities now and into the future.

With decades of global experience, CBM Australia is a trusted international development partner, working alongside the disability movement to turn rights into realities. Investment in international programs delivers long‑term change with a powerful ripple effect, creating inclusion, resilience and opportunity for millions of people worldwide.
