ACFID video interview with Edwina Faithfull-Farmer

Edwina Faithfull-Farmer is the International Programs Director at CBM. Edwina was invited by the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) to participate in an interview about how peer groups can be immensely empowering for people with disabilities in overcoming a range of social and systemic barriers to inclusion.
In this video, Edwina explains how such groups have acted as a springboard for equipping people with disabilities in Bangladesh to engage meaningfully in Disaster Risk Reduction and bring their own priorities to their communities.
Edwina highlights the crucial factors that have contributed to the success, such as community networks, accessibility considerations and leadership training for people with disabilities.
