We have a rewarding opportunity for a passionate and motivated CRM, Data and Insights Lead to join CBM Australia.
Reporting to the Head of Audience Data, Insights and Performance, you will be responsible for managing our CRM audience and fundraising database, ensuring data quality, and providing valuable insights to support income generation and organisational performance.

The successful applicant will:
- Oversee accurate and timely completion of data requests and business processes.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of CRM data, implementing hygiene and quality control measures.
- Manage Blackbaud CRM for Public Engagement (PE) related activities.
- Provide data analysis and insights to enhance performance and supporter experiences, including creating reports and dashboards.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on data for our strategic projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by aligning practices with industry standards and organisational goals.
- Foster a productive, effective and harmonious working environment.
Specific outcomes required:
- Data and insights are driving strategic decisions, improving campaign effectiveness, and enhancing donor engagement.
- Data operations run smoothly with minimal errors, supported by strong documentation, QA processes, and vendor coordination.
- CRM use is optimised across PE, with high-quality data inputs and a shared understanding of reporting definitions and rules.
- Stakeholders are confident in the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of reporting and insights.
- Data work practices are continually evolved in line with industry standards and system capabilities, ensuring solutions remain effective, future-fit, value-driven, and secure.
About you

To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Either at least 2 years of experience in data analysis or a master’s degree in data analytics or a related field.
- Experience in database management, CRM systems, data analytics, and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and an advanced understanding of Excel would be desirable.
- Previous experience with Blackbaud CRM would be valuable, however not essential as we provide training.
- Experience in process management, improvement, and quality control.
- A solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A commitment to maintaining professional development and fostering team growth.
- Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.
- Enthusiasm for the mission of CBM Australia and alignment/comfort with being part of a faith-based organisation.
