ZIMBABWE IS IN THE GRIP OF A DEADLY FOOD CRISIS.
Zimbabwe is “facing the worst hunger crisis in a decade” the UN declared. More than 7 million people – almost half the population – need food aid, and over 2 million people are facing starvation after a severe drought affected food harvests.
CBM is on-the-ground in Chivi district, where help is urgently needed, supporting children and families most at risk – especially those with disabilities.

Your donations will:
- Help train families on sustainable farming, giving them skills to grow maize, sorghum and pearl millet, which are drought resistant.
- Give families livestock like breeding goats to produce milk and ensuring livelihoods.
- Help create veggie gardens for long-term and self-sufficient food supply.
With food shortages peaking in early 2020, the death toll is set to soar. The first to go will be children who are already severely malnourished and at risk of water borne disease. Here diarrhoea is deadly and never more so than now.
