Pray with Jane for Nepal

Like so many of you over the past few days, I’ve been thinking about and praying for the people of Nepal as the impact of the devastating floods becomes clearer.

Families are grieving, many people are still waiting for news, and entire communities have been left shattered and isolated.

It’s hard to imagine the uncertainty that they’re facing.

We know that in disasters like this, people with disabilities are amongst the most at risk and find it harder to reach safety, support and care.

So, as we hold the people of Nepal in our hearts, especially people with disabilities and those still waiting for help, I invite you to join me now in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we bring before you the people of Nepal who have lost so much so suddenly.

We pray, Lord, that you are there to comfort and provide strength in such difficult times.

And we pray particularly that people with disabilities will get the help that they need in Jesus’ name, Amen.
