Access to assistive technology (AT) (including assistive products (AP) and the systems that deliver them) is essential for disability inclusion, especially in a humanitarian emergency. Yet, for most people with disability even basic AT remains difficult to access.

This year, we were proud to provide technical advice through our #InclusionAdvisoryGroup, alongside the Nossal Institute to integrate AP into core relief items within the DFAT funded Humanitarian Logistics Capability program.

The pilot reinforced the critical role of AT in humanitarian response and provides practical guidance to move forward.
