CBM addresses disability inclusion across a number of fronts. We fund programs to ensure that avoidable blindness is reducing, strengthening government eye health services. Through our Community Based Inclusive Development work, we ensure that people with disabilities have better access to the services they need. People with mental health issues are supported to be active citizens in their community. When disasters strike, we work to make sure that organisations providing humanitarian support include people with disabilities in their responses.

We also provide advice to other organisations, including governments, multilaterals and civil society organisations, so that they have approaches that are disability inclusive.

This document provides a thematic overview of how we work and what we have learned along the way.
