A three-way collaboration of government, NGO and OPDs is bringing brought a CBID approach to scale in a low resource setting.
Work supported by CBM in Nicaragua provides an example of CBID in a context where our NGO partners has used existing government programs and government commitment to disability to, together, bring a CBID approach to scale. Nicaragua is a low resource setting but the national government has a strong political commitment to inclusion and understanding of civil society engagement. The case study explores the approach in detail.
