What is coronavirus COVID-19 disease?

COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease) is an infectious respiratory disease caused by a new virus. Signs of infection include sore throat, fever, coughing and a shortness of breath. As there is currently no treatment, the best way to prevent transmission is through good hygiene practices, physical distancing and to be tested for COVID-19 if you have any symptoms.
