Gender equality includes women and girls with disabilities.
Every woman and girl has the right to live with dignity, safety, and opportunity. Yet for many women and girls with disabilities, these hopes remain harder to reach. They continue to face unfair barriers that make everyday life more challenging.
As Australia’s only international development organisation focused on disability inclusion, we partner with the disability movement. We provide technical advice and deliver programs that drive change, amplify the voices, and transform the lives of people with disabilities, including women and girls.
Our research and programs
We partner with the disability movement to understand the lived experiences of women and girls with disabilities, and use those insights to drive change. The posters around our booth highlight our work and learnings from this, including from our programs, contracts, research and ongoing partnerships with OPDs.
