For someone like Aanand, your support might be the only chance they ever have to see again.

In the world’s poorest places children like Aanand are facing permanent blindness from cataracts. Without sight, they will often struggle to study, follow their dreams, and might be unable to live independently and work when they grow up.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Sight-saving cataract surgery costs as little as $33 — and you can help fund it.

For years, generous people like you have helped give the gift of sight and change lives, but we need your support to reach even more people going needlessly blind. Please will you extend your generosity to someone like Aanand today?

Why your gift matters

Many families living in poverty simply can’t afford to pay for the surgery, and sadly, if a child’s cataracts aren’t removed in time, their sight may never be restored.

A sight-saving cataract operation can cost as little as $33 and takes just 12 minutes. By donating today, you can help prevent someone from going needlessly blind.

More than sight

Giving the gift of sight means much more than just restoring vision. For children like Aanand, seeing means they can continue to study, socialise and play with their friends, and live independently in the future. Without sight, it will be impossible for Aanand to pursue his dream to become a doctor — he might not even be able to support himself at all.

that’s why your gift today is truly life-changing.
