Brothers Yogendra and Prakash are both going needlessly blind...

Yogendra is eight years old and was born with cataracts in both his eyes.

“Everything looks blurry. I fall often while walking. I cannot run or climb trees… I cannot go to school like other children. Other children also don’t visit us. So, I play at home.”

Yogendra’s little brother Prakash is four years old. He, too, was born with cataracts in both his eyes.

Prakash squints when he’s trying to focus his eyes on something… But he still can’t see the way other children can. And he’s always left out of their games. Like his brother, Prakash stays home to play… alone and out of sight.

Please will you send a gift to help children like Yogendra and Prakash get their sight back?

Their mother is praying for a Miracle…

Yogendra and Prakash’s mum Mina couldn’t even spot her sons were losing their vision, because she too, is going blind. By the time Mina realised Yogendra and Prakash were suffering from the very same hereditary condition that caused cataracts in her own eyes, their vision had already deteriorated so much.

Mina is devastated for her sons…

“I might have known that my kids have eye problems if I could see. When I heard they both needed surgeries immediately I felt faint. I felt helpless. Both my sons are like this. How would they survive?”

If Yogendra and Prakash don’t get surgery very soon, they will not only continue to be needlessly blind, but their vision will get worse by the day.

They won’t ever be able to go to school. They’ll grow up being shut out from the opportunities they need to earn a living to provide for themselves and their families. They will remain trapped in the cycle of poverty and disability.

Yogendra and Prakash’s family is praying for the gift of sight to come before it’s too late.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
