In 2015, together with support from over 900,000 active supporters, the International family (CBMI) worked with 418 local partner organisations to support 650 projects in 63 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. We reached more than 80 million people.
CBM contributes to a range of projects that improve the lives of people with disability and promote inclusive communities. Important aspects of CBM's work include increasing access to health care, improving opportunities for education and livelihoods, addressing stigmas and social barriers. This, in turn, helps to promote opportunities for people with disability to influence and participate in decisions that affect their lives. In 2016. CBM Australia is supporting local partners to implement projects in the following countries:
