A few months ago, we shared the story of Namaara – a little girl who was abandoned after birth when her mother died, and left at the doorstep of CBM’s partner hospital because she had severe club feet, she was deaf, and couldn’t speak.
While CBM workers taught Namaara sign language to communicate, Namaara had no choice but to crawl in the dirt to get anywhere.
It was a heartbreaking situation – but this is why we’re so excited to share this news from the field.
Thanks to our generous supporters, Namaara is receiving the life-changing surgery she needed.
With your help, surgeons can gently straighten Namaara’s twisted feet. Afterwards, doctors are making sure Namaara receives the rehabilitation and care she needs while she heals. Her hope has been restored.
You have made this all possible – CBM field workers do what they can for children like Namaara, but she and so many others like her could never afford this help without you.
Soon, Namaara’s plaster will come off and she’ll start learning to walk. Every step Namaara takes will be towards a brighter future – and it’s all thanks to supporters like you.
You have helped restore Namaara’s life - Thank You!
